poem due next tue, and i've already started thinking about it ( i began to shape my thesis statement three hours before meeting the advisor, you can really tell i am more a poet than a theorist. ). one thing i like doing a poem is that i don't feel much pressure, i mean you can't rush a poem or any pieces of writing, so you really have to make yourself comfortable and relaxed and, hopefully, the ideas will come to you at the right time.

don't know what the heck is happening - for the past few days, i dropped off almost every other hour ,even in front of the computer. and last night was just ridiculous, there was no way i  could concentrate on doing whatever i wanted to do because my brain was so determined to shut itself down from around 9 even though i have given it some regular 7-hours sleep. brilliant.

the most practical and predictable present ever - Yogurt Maker.

also, got a very elegant pencil case from Miss Ice. The case won my heart almost instantly, am definitely going to drop my two-years-old habit of carrying a handful of loose pens around.

the timing couldn't be better, i mean, getting new stationery just before school starts,   it just  makes me feel even more excited about the new term

though  it looks a bit like fried rice here, but it's 100% shredded pork chop - crispy, tasty, fluffy and it's a fun dish to make. never thought i could/would make it at home, oh am so proud of myself.

... that will make your go 'you got to be kidding'  if a friend offers it to you and said it is made by him/her
